WWE Backlash live results: Cody Rhodes vs. AJ Styles

For the first time ever, France is playing host to a WWE PPV/PLE.

Backlash 2024 emanates from LDLC Arena in Lyon this afternoon. In the main event, two former Bullet Club members will clash for the first time ever. New Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Cody Rhodes is defending his title against AJ Styles.

Title defenses by Damian Priest, Bayley, and The Kabuki Warriors are also part of the Backlash card. Like Rhodes, Priest and Bayley both won their titles at WrestleMania. Priest is defending his World Heavyweight Championship against Jey Uso. Bayley is putting her WWE Women's Championship on the line in a triple threat match featuring Naomi and Tiffany Stratton.

The new duo of Bianca Belair & Jade Cargill are challenging Asuka & Kairi Sane for the WWE Women's Tag Team titles.

Plus, Tama Tonga makes his televised WWE in-ring debut as the new-look Bloodline (Solo Sikoa & Tonga) face off with Kevin Owens & Randy Orton.
